Principal Objectives

The Principal objectives in running World of Hope are for:

• Reducing youth crime by supporting parents to understand youth culture and lifestyle;
  
  
• Engaging with youth on the street to understand dangers on the street and providing activities information for them to see the need to engage;
  
  
• Providing youth academy as a safer place with different activities to reduce the time young people spend on the street;
  
  
• Taking young people to visit decision makers to be consulted on issues facing them for their voice to be heard as a means of inspiration;
  
  
• Running different workshops and training to educate young people on dangers of carrying weapon, teenage pregnancy, setting goal, peer pressure, confidence building and use of drug; and
  
  
• Encouraging family togetherness by empowering both young people and family to increase close relationship.
