Position Description
Leading on IT & Homework help group to individual and small group in a youth club for young people aged 5-21 but extended to age 25 if disabled;
Assessing to identify the level of support required in core subjects;
Teaching young people computer software;
Encouraging young people to engage in using educational games and dictionaries;
Understanding youth culture and lifestyle;
Reviewing class material, discussing the text, predicting test questions, formulating ideas for papers, or working on solutions to problems;
To be responsible in assuring that individual complete their online and hard copy school home work and maintenance of equipment used.
Responsibilities
• Complete required 3 hours of teaching support once a week
• Check with individual for completion of home work and tasks
• Liaise with Project coordinator to ensure compliance of policies and Children Safeguarding standard
• Complete and hand in all required paperwork including monthly report
• To attend be punctual for all scheduled tutoring sessions. It is your responsibility to notify us as soon as possible if you cannot attend giving at least 24hours. Please call 07949590341
• To attend monthly workers meeting.

• To teach young people how to use the music equipments
• To teach how to compose songs using music software
• To teach young people how to use IT technology in putting song together.
• To be able to motivate young people to express themselves using music
• To be able to coordinate music production and exhibition
• To be able to assess individual and group performance

Motivating young people to express themselves using drama techniques;
Encouraging young people to engage in sharing their experience relating to the issues facing them and highlight a way forward;
To be able to help young people to build their confidence through acting and performances;
Understanding youth culture and lifestyle;
Reviewing class material, discussing the text, formulating ideas and writing scripts for plays and performance. Also to prepare them for filming.
